Tags are mainly used to assign attributes to one or more rooms so that they can be searched according to these attributes. In other words, they are used to aggregate physical rooms that have certain characteristics even if they are part of different types. For example: with bathroom, with terrace, with sea view, equipped for disabled people, ... It could be convenient to tag the rooms in a single way, for example with sea view.
Once a tag is assigned to a room, it will be possible to search by tag. In general, the field that allows filtering by tag is named with "Rtag" (Room Tag) or simply "Tags".
Only the physical rooms with a certain tag can be displayed on the planner.
In the Rack there is the possibility to filter the physical rooms through the selection of a tag.
Also in the City Tax report it is possible to filter the room by tag. So in other sections where you need to filter the rooms you can use this field.
Creation and assignment of tags
Assigning a tag to a room is very simple: just write the name at one of the rooms to which you can assign it and press the enter button. The name must be a single word.
Once the tag is created, it is easy to assign it (or to un-assign it) to several other physical rooms through the right section. Just click on the name of the tag and then on all the rooms to which we want the tag assigned (the saving is automatic).
